Imitation Jagermeister

IMITATION JAGERMEISTER

Makes 5 pints

Ingredients
4  cups water

2  cups brown sugar

2  Tablespoons molasses

2  Tablespoons root beer extract

2  teaspoons anise extract

¼  teaspoon orange extract

4  Tablespoons aromatic bitters, sold at most grocery stores

6  Tablespoons vanilla extract

2  cups vodka  (I like Sobieski)

2  cups Everclear 190 proof grain alcohol

Instructions

1.  In a medium saucepan, bring the water and brown sugar to a rolling boil over a high heat.  Set aside for several hours to let the simple syrup cool completely.

2.  When the simple syrup has completely cooled, add in all the flavorings and the alcohol.
