Bulk Yeast

I like to buy my yeast in bulk.

I get mine from Sam’s and it comes in a double pack.

It’s so much cheaper this way.

All you need is a quart size jar with a lid and ring.

Cut the top off of one the sealed, foil bags and pour the yeast into the clean and dry jar.

As you can see, one package fills the jar about ¾ full.

Make a label to put on the side of the jar.

Your label should say: 

     1  package yeast =  2 ¼ teaspoons.
