Strawberry Blossoms


 STRAWBERRY BLOSSOMS
12 strawberries

Ingredients
12  large fresh strawberries, rinsed and dried
1 (3oz.) pkg cream cheese, softened
2  Tablespoons powdered sugar
1  Tablespoon sour cream

Instructions
1.  Remove the stems from strawberries to form a flat base. 
2.  Place strawberries on cutting surface, pointed end up. 
3.  With sharp knife, carefully slice each strawberry in half vertically to within
ΒΌ   inch of base. 
4.  Cut each half into 3 wedges to form 6 petals. 
(Do Not Slice Through The Base
5.  Pull petals apart slightly.
6.  In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar and sour cream.  
7.  Beat, with a spoon, until light and fluffy and no lumps remain.
8.  With pastry bag and star tip, fill strawberries with cream cheese mixture.
9.  Cover and refrigerate.
