Biscuits

BISCUITS
makes about 15 biscuits   (3 ¼ inch rounds)

Ingredients
4  cups flour
2  teaspoons salt
2  Tablespoons baking powder
2  Tablespoons sugar
3  cups heavy whipping cream
1/3  cup butter, melted

Instructions
1.  Preheat oven to 425°.
2.  In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar together.
3.  With a fork, stir in 1  cup of the heavy cream.
4.  Add enough more of the heavy cream so that dough sticks together.
You’ll probably use the whole 3 cups worth.
5.  Turn dough out onto a well floured surface and knead for 1 minute (be sure to knead for the entire 1 minute),
6.  Roll the dough out to 1/2  inch thick, on a well floured surface.
7.  Cut out the biscuits and place onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
8.  Brush the tops of each biscuit generously with some of the melted butter.  You will not use all of the butter for this step.
9.  Set the remaining melted butter aside.
10.  Let the biscuits rest for 10 minutes before baking.
11.  Bake at 425° for 15 - 20 minutes.
12.  As soon as you remove the biscuits from the oven, use the remaining portion of the melted butter and brush the tops of each biscuit generously again.
