Cupcake Brownies


CUPCAKE BROWNIES 


Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, (6 squares)
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 cup flour
1/4  teaspoon salt
4 eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts, walnuts or pecans


Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2.  Spray an 8x8 inch cake pan with cooking spray.
3.  Melt the chocolate and butter together in a saucepan, over low heat.
4.  Pour the melted chocolate into a large mixing bowl.
5.  Add in the sugar and flour and salt and beat with an electric mixer until combined.
6.  Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
7.  Add in the vanilla.
8.  Fold in the nuts with a rubber spatula.
9.  Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
10.  Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
