Sweet Onion Salad Dressing

SWEET ONION SALAD DRESSING

Makes about 2 ½ cups

Ingredients

1  cup vegetable oil

1/3  cup sugar

1/3  cup lemon juice

1/3  cup ketchup

1  small onion, cut up

1  Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, optional

Instructions

1.  In a blender or food processor, combine the sugar, lemon juice, ketchup, onion and Worcestershire sauce.
2.  Place the oil into a container that will allow you to slowly add it into the food processor.  I like to use a cheap, plastic ketchup dispenser.  
3.  With the food processor continually running, slowly add in the oil, a Tablespoon at a time.

4.  Blend until smooth and emulsified; which should be as soon as you're done adding in the oil.
