COUNTRY BREAKFAST

Ingredients
1 cup uncooked brown rice
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 3/4 cups water
1/2 cup raisins
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
Instructions
1. Combine
all the ingredients in a 2 quart saucepan.
2. Bring
to a boil, stirring once or twice.
3. Reduce
heat to a low simmer.
4. Cover
and simmer until the rice is tender and the liquid mostly absorbed, about 35-45 minutes.
5. Remove from heat. Let rest in pan, covered, for another 10 minutes.
6. Serve
with milk and brown sugar.
